OUR STORY- Overview

For more than a decade, the successful integration of approximately 60 basic scientists and clinical investigators continues to set the standard in the effort to prevent, diagnose, treat and ultimately cure cancers that affect women.  To this end, current WCP priorities are:

  • Improving the treatment of breast and gynecological cancers through tailored therapies research.
  • Investigating breast and gynecological cancer metastasis using human samples and the most advanced genetic technologies available.
  • Pioneering new technologies to meet the scientific needs of our research investigators.
  • Expanding research into genetic risk factors and cancer susceptibility genes in specific populations of women.
